The Creative Workshop offers a distinctive art-based experience for adults interested in exploring how we express ourselves, respond to others and encounter different perspectives. My creative workshop practice has developed over many years through my work as a visual artist, musician, educator, mentor and facilitator. The workshop creates space to step outside familiar routines, engage creatively and notice aspects of our responses and interactions that may be less apparent in everyday life.No artistic background or drawing ability is required. The emphasis is not on producing a “good” artwork or demonstrating creative skill.
Many of the ways we approach a creative experience have parallels in everyday life: how we respond when we do not already know the answer, how readily we experiment or hold back, how we communicate what matters to us, how we encounter other people’s perspectives, and how we respond when they see things differently. The workshop offers an opportunity to become more aware of some of these responses in a creative setting and to consider whether anything you notice has relevance to the choices you make, the way you communicate and how you relate to other people in everyday life. You may leave with a new observation, an unexpected question, a different perspective on something familiar, or simply greater awareness of how you express and respond. There is no predetermined outcome and nothing you are expected to discover. What becomes interesting or meaningful through the experience is for you to decide.
The Creative Workshop is art-based rather than therapeutic. It does not diagnose participants, interpret their creative work or require personal disclosure. My role is to provide and facilitate the creative experience with care and sensitivity while respecting each participant’s own perspective and personal boundaries.
You do not need to think of yourself as artistic or creative. Curiosity about yourself, other people and what can emerge through creative experience is enough. If the Creative Workshop interests you, you are warmly invited to get in touch to ask a question, express your interest in the next workshop, or hear about future dates.

I am Veronika Szász, a graphic designer, musician, and art educator working across visual, musical, and interdisciplinary forms. The different fields of my creative and professional practice are connected by an ongoing exploration of identity, human connection, and cultural continuity. In both visual and musical language, I explore the spaces between tradition and contemporary expression; my work is shaped by emotional resonance, systemic thinking, and a sensitivity to detail.
My artistic practice brings together sound, image, and presence, creating connections between different artistic languages, personal meanings, and shared experience. Alongside my creative practice, as an art educator and mentor, I support others in recognising and unfolding the most authentic dimensions of their own talent and identity, and in finding forms of expression through which these can develop into a genuine source of strength.
I have been working as a freelance graphic designer since 2014. My practice centres on the development of visual identities, with a particular focus on person-centred and culturally significant brands, as well as initiatives that represent the values of sustainability and collaboration in an ethical and responsible way. In my independent graphic work, I seek a balance between classical values and contemporary visual language. Across these projects, I am particularly interested in questions of identity, cultural continuity, and meaning, while my approach is shaped by emotional resonance, systemic thinking, and a sensitivity to detail.
Between 2015 and 2020, I taught design practice within the graphic design specialisation at the Secondary School of Visual Arts in Budapest. From 2021 to 2025, I taught visual identity design at Corvinus University of Budapest, where I have also contributed to the Disruptive Development programme of the Executive MBA through selected thematic elements of a workshop methodology I developed. Since 2024, I have been teaching in the Illustration Specialisation at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. Alongside my academic teaching, I have been leading workshops on visual communication, creativity development, and self-awareness since 2015, continuously refining their methodology through my professional practice and further training.
I have been active as a performing artist since 2018, presenting my own compositions both as a solo artist and in various collaborative formations. My musical practice brings together sound, image, and presence, moving between composition, performance, and interdisciplinary forms. The electroacoustic layers of my music draw on the experiential approach to sound found in musique concrète and the structural thinking of Elektronische Musik: concrete sounds emerging from space, touch, and noise meet synthetically generated sounds within a shared compositional field. The focus lies on the relationships that emerge between them, on the ways sounds condense, expand, layer into one another, create tension, or dissolve into silence. Hungarian folk and world music, classical and sacred musical traditions, improvisational jazz, and elements of indie pop are organically woven into this flowing sonic fabric. My music moves across the boundaries between these territories, continually seeking a balance between tradition and contemporary, experimental sound. From these layered, composed sonic textures, song-like forms crystallise: moments of coherence coming into focus, in which sound becomes personal. The lyrics work with simple, symbolic imagery, leaving space for association and inner resonance. Through sound, image, and performance, I am interested in creating experiences that engage with emotion, embodiment, and meaning while remaining open to personal interpretation.
Alongside conventional concert formats, I create interactive and interdisciplinary musical events in which music enters into dialogue with other artistic forms and with the active presence of the audience. Through drawing and visual games, listeners are invited to become not only recipients of the work, but participants in shaping a shared experience. These projects reflect a broader interest in artistic forms that can be both reflective and experientially engaging, creating spaces in which individual perception and shared experience can meet.
